Working with young people is one of the most demanding yet rewarding careers you could follow. Our children and young people have all experienced significant trauma, abuse, neglect and poor parenting – and as a result are significantly disadvantaged and can display some very challenging behaviours. There are few people who are able to undertake this physically and demanding work – and of these, there are even fewer who are willing to.

Because therapeutic work is based on the deliberate positive use of relationships between adults and children, all our member organisations appreciate that their staff are the most important resource. In any therapeutic organisation you can expect a high degree of training, supervision and support, professional development and the opportunity to be the difference in young peoples lives.

Job roles can include: Residential Careers, Seniors and Managers, Teachers/ Tutors, Therapists and clinical professionals, Administration and Finance, Senior Management and Consultancy roles.
